The Valley - Race 1 12:20pm AEST

No. 1 Shot Of Irish

Shot Of Irish is racing in career best form and this is a drop in quality from his last start. He finished third behind Age Of Chivalry at Caulfield last weekend and I like the fact that he is on the quick back-up. There is no horse of Age Of Chivalry’s in this contest and if he can maintain that level, he will prove tough to back.

The Valley - Race 3 1:30pm AEST

No. 3 Taraayef

Taraayef has scored two wins from as many race starts and she has improved each time that she has been seen at the races. She ran the fastest closing sectionals in the race when she won at The Valley last start and the step-up to 1200 metres should be ideal. She will need some luck in running, but she has class on her side.

The Valley - Race 7 4:05pm AEST

No. 1 Hightail

Hightail wasn’t the most consistent horse as a two-year-old, but he produced a couple of high-rating performances in The Ladbrokes Showdown and the Magic Millions Classic. He always gave the impression that he would be better as a three-year-old and he can make a winning return to the races.

The Valley - Race 8 4:45pm AEST

No. 8 Terbium

Terbium will return to the races in a very winnable contest at The Valley this afternoon. He started his racing career with four straight wins, highlighted by a win in the Ladbrokes Zeditave Stakes, and he lost no admirers with his run in the Euclase Stakes. This is not an overly strong race and he will prove very tough to beat.
