Hawkesbury - Race 4 2:10pm AEST

No. 1 Broken Arrows

Broken Arrows has developed into something of a non-winner, but I am willing to give him one last chance at Hawkesbury this afternoon. He found the line nicely at Hawkesbury last start and his previous win did come over 1000 metres. He may never have a better chance to record a second race win.

Hawkesbury - Race 7 3:55pm AEST

No. 7 Laila De Vega

Laila De Vega was only narrowly denied at Hawkesbury last start and a repeat of that performance would make her tough to beat in this contest. She doesn’t win out of turn, but she generally produces her best form at Hawkesbury and she does have the benefit of Brenton Avdulla in the saddle.

Mornington - Race 4 3:00pm AEST

No. 4 Wilmot Pass

Wilmot Pass won on debut at Moe in dominant fashion and he had genuine excuses when he finished fourth at Caulfield last start. This is a genuine drop in quality and the Rubick colt still has plenty of upside. He maps to get the run of the race from barrier five and he has the benefit of Damian Lane in the saddle.

Mornington - Race 5 3:30pm AEST

No. 3 Rube Bridges

Rube Bridges did not have any luck in running at Geelong last start and before that she was only narrowly denied at Cranbourne. She has gone to another level this campaign and she maps to get a lovely run in transit with Jye McNeil in the saddle. This is her chance to return to winning form.
