Bairnsdale - Race 6 3:30pm AEST

No. 1 Friday Funday

Friday Funday returned to the races with a credible second place finish at Pakenham and he should take good improvement from that performance. This race is a genuine drop in quality and the step-up to 2000 metres is ideal for him. He maps to get a lovely run in transit and has an excellent chance to return to winning form.

Bairnsdale - Race 7 4:00pm AEST

No. 9 Tugga War

The scratchings have taken plenty of the quality out of this field and that leaves Tugga War as easily the horse to beat. She has been racing consistently without winning this campaign and the step-up to 1600 metres suit. This is the weakest race that she has contested for some time and this is her chance to return to winning form.

Bairnsdale - Race 8 4:30pm AEST

No. 10 The Mobot

The Mobot led from start to finish to win by four lengths at Warracknabeal on debut and there is no doubt that she is a filly with serious ability. I like the fact that Ciaron Maher and David Eustace have kept her over 1000 metres and if she performs at anywhere near her debut performance she will prove tough to beat.

Bairnsdale - Race 9 5:00pm AEST

No. 13 Everybody Dance

Everybody Dance has only recorded two wins from her 23 race starts, but she has definitely gone to another level this campaign. She savaged the line to record an impressive win at Benalla last start and this race is no tougher. Barrier four is ideal for her and there is no reason that she can’t make it two wins on the trot.
