Wyong - Race 5 3:35pm AEST

No. 8 Akari

Akari is simply outstanding value at her current price of $5.50. She finished second behind Libertini on debt at Royal Randwick and she was third behind Libertini and Regimental Band in the Woodlands Stakes. There are obviously no horses with the ability of Libertini in this field and with even luck in running she will prove tough to beat.

Wyong - Race 7 4:45pm AEST

No. 1 Traumatised

Traumatised doesn’t win out of turn, but when he does it is generally first-up. He has recorded two wins and two placings from his four race starts and last campaign he raced well without winning at both Doomben and Rosehill Gardens. On his best form, he has an edge over the rest of this field and the $6.50 available is well and truly over the odds.

Moe - Race 4 2:00pm AEST

No. 7 Heyington Station

Heyington Station chased home the promising Stand To Attention on debut at Pakenham and there is no horse of that quality in this field. I don’t think that this race is much tougher and the wide barrier draw should actually prove to be an advantage. He will be storming home late and should be able to claim a maiden race win.

Moe - Race 8 4:00pm AEST

No. 1 Boomstock

Boomstock has been beaten as favourite in his past two race starts, but I am willing to give him another chance. He didn’t have a great deal of luck at Seymour last start and this is a genuine drop in quality. On his best form, he does have a class edge over the rest of this field and he maps to get a lovely run in transit with Jamie Kah in the saddle.
