Moe - Race 3 1:40pm AEST

No. 6 Port Royal

Port Royal failed to record a race win during his maiden racing campaign, but he does have form around the likes of Stars Of Carrum, Scamper, Jinda, Vow And Declare and Junipal. This is probably the weakest race that he has contested since he made his racing debut and he does have the benefit of Damien Oliver in the saddle.

Moe - Race 6 3:25pm AEST

No. 6 Blandford Lad

Blandford Lad has recorded two wins on the trot and there is no doubt that he has gone to another level this campaign. He ran some very impressive closing sectionals when he won at Moe last start and I’m really not sure this race is much tougher. He should now be at peak fitness and can make it three wins on the trot.

Moe - Race 7 4:00pm AEST

No. 4 Masculino

Masculino has been racing well without winning this campaign and he may never have a better chance to return to winning form than when he contests the Moe Cup. He hasn’t produced a poor effort this campaign and he was very tough at Caulfield last start. He will make his own luck right on the speed and will prove tough to run down late.

Moe - Race 9 5:10pm AEST

No. 9 Groot

Groot is a better horse than his current record suggests and the $9.50 that is currently available is well and truly over the odds. He never gave his rivals a chance when he won over 1000 metres at Mildura last start and I like that Ciaron Maher and Dave Eustace has kept him at that trip for this contest.
