Seymour - Race 4 2:50pm AEDT

No. 5 Mawaard

Mawaard showed his talent when he bolted in to win by three and a half lengths at Sale first-up last campaign and he had excuses when he finished seventh at Ladbrokes Park before he went to the spelling paddock. He still has plenty of upside and on his best form I think he has an edge over the rest of this field.

Seymour - Race 7 4:30pm AEDT

No. 4 Admiral's Joker

Admiral’s Joker has recorded two wins from as many race starts this campaign and there is no reason that he can’t continue his winning ways in the Seymour Cup. He is deserving of his status as a short-priced favourite.

Seymour - Race 8 5:05pm AEDT

No. 7 Firstclass Dreamer

Firstclass Dreamer doesn’t win out of turn, but he is a consistent galloper that rarely runs a bad race. He comes out of a fairly strong race at Mornington last start and this is a genuine drop in quality. He will need some luck in running from the wide barrier draw, but he is still worth a bet at his current quote.

Seymour - Race 8 5:35pm AEDT

No. 4 Bord De Gain

Bord De Gain has won his only previous race start over 1000 metres and there is no way that he should be as long as his current price. He ran really well in much stronger races than this last campaign and he maps to get a lovely run in transit with Luke Nolen in the saddle. $12 is well and truly over the odds.
