Class 6 Handicap (1830m)

Tatcee has been mister consistency with a win and two placings from his last three starts and gets his chance to make amends for his last start nose second over 1815m at Eagle Farm. Sir Barnabus is up in weight for his last start win over this course and distance and is one of the main chances again. Endless Days hasn’t been far off the pace of late and Magstock was an Eagle Farm winner two starts back.

QTIS 2yo C&G Handicap (1000m)

Rothfire is the only two year old in the field of seven who has race experience with a narrow win over this course and distance a fortnight ago and will be hard to beat again. Wisdom Of Water will be facing the starter for the first and has shown plenty of ability with two runaway barrier trial wins at the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast and has been well supported in early betting at Ladbrokes.com.au. First starter Married To The Mob has won a recent Wyong barrier trial and Way Beyond was a narrow second in a Sunshine Coast trial.

Class 6 Plate (1000m)

Piracy will be having his first start for Toowoomba trainers Tony and Maddyson Sears and will be one of the main chances on his last start win at Warwick Farm. Capital Connection is also a last start winner at Doomben and is a winner over this course and distance and gets his chance again to find the number one stall. Johnny Whitesox is resuming and has a win and a second on his first up record and Takes Time can do better than his last start eighth.

Race 4 - 1:12pm

C,G & E Class 3 Plate (1000m)

Flaming Boss is the winner of his two race starts at Doomben and Ipswich and looks the one to beat at his Eagle Farm debut. Pizonie is a two times runner up over the Eagle Farm 1000m course and should be amongst the prizemoney again. Vienna Power led before finishing third this course and distance last start and Contemptuous is having his first race start since winning a Grafton Maiden in March.

Race 5 - 1:52pm

F&M Class 3 Plate (1000m)

Sukwhinder has two wins from three starts which includes a last start victory over this course and distance and looks to be one of the main chances again. Hollaback Girl is on the improve with a win over 1100m at Ipswich and has earned another chance in town. Shalwa is climbing up in the weights after her win over the Eagle Farm 1000m course and her stablemate Cailini has two placings from her last two starts.

QTIS 3yo Handicap (1200m)

Zac Attack is the winner of three of his four race starts and gets her chance to add another win to her record over the same course and distance as her last start win. Howwonderfullifeis is stepping up to the 1200m and chasing a hat trick after wins at the Sunshine Coast and Eagle Farm and must be considered. Ready To Roam and The Odyssey are set to clash again after finishing second and third behind Howwonderfullifeis.

There has been some early support for Captivator at Ladbrokes.com.au and it might pay to follow the money trail with the blinkers going back on after a last start third at the Gold Coast. Francisca hasn’t been far off the mark of late and will have the blinkers on for the first time on Saturday. Toan Thang and River Flyer come back to town after wins at the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast.

Comic Story was in fine form before a spell with four wins from five starts at the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast and he has a handy first up record. Copywriter is chasing a hat trick after wins at the Sunshine Coast and Doomben and Take Tea is in the same boat with wins at the Gold Coast and Ipswich while Buffy heads back to town after a Sunshine Coast win.

BenchMark 75 Handicap (1400m)

Park Chinois is chasing back to back wins over the Eagle Farm 1400m course and will get a good run from an inside barrier. Umberto hasn’t been far off the mark at his recent runs, Dreamreacher is stepping up to the 1400m off the back of an Eagle Farm 1200m win and Erringhi Spring is chasing a hat trick after wins at the Gold Coast and Doomben.

Open Handicap (1400m)

Auerbach has finished in the minor placings at his last four starts and is well overdue for a visit to the winner’s stall. Deep Image is ready to step back up to 1400m after a win and second over 1200m at Eagle Farm. Rhyme Nor Rhythm was a last start winner over this course and distance and First Crush could surprise at big odds first up.
