Race 1 - 12:24pm

RTG 72 + Handicap (1800m)

Perth’s leading jockey William Pike is on fire and he gets another chance to find the winner’s stall on Jedaffair who has won two of her last three starts and is coming off a last start third over this course and distance. Here Comes Lenni is dropping back from 2200m after a second at Ascot a month ago and will get a nice run from an inside gate. Harry Thomas is being tested over 1600m for the first time but has been racing consistently with three placings and a win from his last four starts and Brother’s Keeper is a last start winner of the 1920m York Cup.

Race 2 - 1:04pm

Crustal Slipper 2yo Stakes (1100m)

Our Danni is one of two juveniles in the race who has faced the starter when a debut winner over this course and distance on November 9 and is the one to beat again. Starfield Impact finished second to Our Danni and has to improve three quarters of a lengths if she is to reverse the placings. Betting will be the best guide for first starters American Choice and Even Magic.

Race 3 - 1:44pm

RTG 66 + Handicap (1000m)

Downforce was a first up winner over the same course and distance as this week’s contest and the three year old will be hard to beat again. Metro Boy wasn’t far behind the winner when runner up over the 1000m at Ascot last start and another bold showing can be expected. Miss Tycoon showed plenty of improvement at her second run back and look for more and More Aces can figure amongst the minors.

Race 4 - 2:24pm

Placid Ark Stakes Stakes (1200m)

Massimo is chasing a hat trick after two wins at Ascot over 1200m and 1100m and has William Pike in the saddle to help his chances. Ziebell was beaten a nose by Massimo over 1100m at Ascot last start and meets him worse at the weights with a senior jockey going back on. Niccovi has handy Melbourne form and headed back to the West after finishing second in the Group 3 Red Roses Stakes (1100m) and has claims and Boomtastic can do better that her last start tenth.

Race 5 - 3:00pm

WA Stakes (1400m)

Arcadia Prince is dropping back in class, has won second up in the past and is a four times winner over this course and distance. Tally has had a freshen up and is dropping back in distance after winning the $500,000 2000m Rosehill Gold Cup and has claims again. Flow is a five times winner over the 1400m and Uni Time is chasing an Ascot hat trick after two wins on the trot in restricted class.

Race 6 - 3:35pm

Jungle Mist Classic (1200m)

Electric Light is fitter for two runs back from a spell and is stepping up to her favourite distance, looking to make it seven wins over 1200m. Dance Music is on the improve following a second up second over the Ascot 1200m course. Market Ruler can improve on her first up eleventh in Group 3 company and has Damien Oliver in the saddle and Snowchino had handy form during the Winter.

Race 7 - 4:10pm

WA Guineas (1600m)

The WA Guineas is virtually a re-run of the Fairetha Stakes with the first five placegetters, Red Can Man, Jericho Missile, Dig Deep, War Saint and Bogart all lining up against each other again. Damien Oliver takes the mount on Dig Deep and that might be the edge he needs to turn the tables on Red Can Man and Jericho Missile who are certain to be in the mix again. Superstorm is coming off a different form line and is stepping up sharply in grade after winning a 1400m Class 1 at Ascot on Melbourne Cup Day but has William Pike in the saddle to help his chances.

Railway Stakes (1600m)

The Wizard Of The West, William Pike, is riding in outstanding form and will give Regal Power every chance in the Railway Stakes. Regal Power is a winner over this course and distance and has the blinkers going on following his first up second in the 1400m Group 3 Asian Beau Stakes three weeks ago. Gatting has Group 1 winning form during the 2019 Melbourne Spring Carnival with a win in the Makybe Diva Stakes over 1600m at Flemington and is a six times winner on the Ascot track. Best Of Days will carry the Godolphin royal blue colours and is coming off a fifth in the Group 1 Cantala Stakes over 1600m at Flemington and Star Exhibit was quickly back into winning form with a first up victory in the Group 2 Lee Steere (1400m) at Ascot a fortnight ago.

Race 9 - 5:30pm

RTG 72 + Handicap (1200m)

Black Sabbath is fitter for two runs back from a spell and gets his chance to find the winner’s stall again with William Pike sticking with the four year old. Beat The Devil hasn’t been far off the pace at his last two starts and has two wins and two seconds over this course and distance. Carocapo is on the improve and Rebel Yell is up in distance after a win over 1000m at Ascot.
