Kyneton - Race 3 2:30pm AEDT

No. 2 Greetie

Greetie has raced well without winning during her career to date and she will return to the races in a winnable contest at Kyneton this afternoon. She has only been narrowly denied in tougher races than this one and on exposed form she does have an edge over the rest of this field. If she brings her best form, she will prove tough to beat.

Kyneton - Race 5 3:30pm AEDT

No. 1 Liveinthefastlane

Liveinthefastlane may never have a better chance to return to winning form. She was beaten as an odds-on favourite at Echuca last start, but she did have genuine excuses in the run and I am willing to give her another opportunity. She maps to get a lovely run in transit and she really should prove too classy for her rivals.

Port Macquarie - Race 6 4:15pm AEDT

No. 1 Triage

Triage has gone to another level this campaign and there is no reason that he can’t make it two wins on the trot. He was only narrowly denied at Port Macquarie in October and he returned to winning form with a classy effort at Grafton last start. I don’t think that this race is any tougher and the drop in trip won’t be an issue.

Port Macquarie - Race 7 4:50pm AEDT

No. 4 Elusive Eagle

Elusive Eagle has shown some upside during his racing career to date and his barrier trial at Newcastle ahead of his return to the races was fair. He was outclassed when he failed to fire at Warwick Farm last campaign, but this is a genuine drop in quality and there is no reason that he can’t make a winning return to the races.
