Deladies Boy was back in the winner’s stall over 1625m at Toowoomba and has
to be considered as one of the main chances again. Ziemba has been placed at
his last two starts over 1350m at Doomben and gets his chance to be tested over
1600m. Last Light made up ground from the back when third over 1630m in similar
class at Doomben and Cabin Fever was a last start winner at the Sunshine Coast

Trevelyan was rewarded for his consistency with a win over 1600m at Doomben and will strip as one of the top contenders again. Saxton Rock has been sent out as the favourite at his last four starts and has saluted on two occasions and has to be considered again. Tycoon Street is another with solid form at the provincials and in town and can be thereabouts and Clevanicc has a nice drop in the weights..

Ceol Na Mara races on the pace and will have to go forward again from a wide gate and had been showing plenty of fight of late. Jeweliana is another who has drawn wide but is dropping dramatically in class. Axella was amongst the minor prizemoney in a Class 3 Highway Handicap at Newcastle’s standalone Saturday Metro meeting and Maslow is the winner of three of his last four starts.

The Candy Man was back in the winner’s stall two starts back over 1600m at the Sunshine Coast and then had no luck last start when third in the 1600m Brisbane Handicap at Doomben and gets his chance get back into the winner’s list. Winning Ways was given a short break after winning a 2225m Handicap at Eagle Farm and has won first up in the past. A Man To Match is stepping up to Open company after winning as favourite in a 2030m BenchMark 90 Handicap at Doomben and gets his chance here and Dawson Diva is on the improve after chasing home A Man To Match at Doomben

Alligator Blood performed well at the top level during the 2019 Melbourne Spring Carnival and is having his first start back since being runner up in the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas (1600m) at Caulfield in October. Huge drop in class and Alligator Blood has won first up in the past. The Odyssey was back in the winner’s stall over this course and distance last start and is certain to race well again. Le Palmier, Battle Strike and Eleven Eleven are set to clash again after filling the trifecta in a 1200m 3yo Plate at Doomben.

Outback Barbie stormed home to go down narrowly in a tight finish in the Group 3 George Moore Stakes and is always a chance in this class. Boomsara was also up close in the three way photo in the same race and can’t be left out. Tambo’s Mate is racing in great form with three wins from his last four starts and was too strong for Vega One when they meet at Doomben last start. .

Lough Neagh Stakes (1300m)
Chapter And Verse came from well back in the field to nose out Outback Barbie in the Group 3 George Moore Stakes at Doomben and expect a similar performance here. Miss Fabulass is back in winning form and has to be considered. I’m A Rippa will have to go forward again from a wide gate and will give his best, Looks Like Elvis is in with a chance at his best and Tyzone has plenty of ability on his day.

Class 6 Handicap (1200m)
Best Guess is fitter for recent racing and hasn’t been far off the mark of late at Rosehill and Randwick and looks well placed here. Boomtown Lass scored a tidy first up win over 1110m at Doomben and will get a nice run from the inside gate. Cruze kept the punters happy with a first up win at the Gold Coast as favourite and Johnny Whitesox can be competitive here after finishing on the heels of the placegetters at Doomben.
