Peter Moody’s 2020 Magic Millions Classic Tips
Champion trainer and Ladbrokes ambassador Peter Moody has had plenty of success at the Magic Millions over the years and he is currently at the sales looking for yet another champion.
Moody has analysed the Magic Millions Classic field and his complete 2020 Magic Millions Classic tips are now available.
Winner – King’s Legacy
Team Snowden have a very strong hand in the Magic Millions Classic and I think that King’s Legacy is the pick of their runners in this race.
He didn’t have a great deal of luck on debut and I really liked the professional manner of his victory in the BJ McLachlan.
The fact that he has already had a run over 1200 metres is a big positive and Kerrin McEvoy will be able to settle him in a lovely position just behind the speed.
Team Snowden are outstanding ‘Grand Final’ trainers, especially with their two-year-olds, and King’s Legacy looks well-placed to go to another level in the Magic Millions Classic.
2nd – Farnan
No trainer has a better record in the Magic Millions Classic than Gai Waterhouse and there is plenty to like about Farnan.
His win in the Wyong Magic Millions Classic was excellent and he will get a dream run in transit with Tim Clark in the saddle.
He gives the impression that he is a very professional galloper and it is no surprise that he has been well-backed since the Magic Millions Classic barrier draw.
3rd – Aim
Aim has plenty of talent and he might actually be the best horse in this race.
The way that he put away his rivals at Randwick last start could not have been more impressive and he still has plenty of upside to improve.
My major concern is barrier two.
He does get a long way back in the run and he will have a wall of horses in front of him at the top of the straight.
4th – Every Rose
Every Rose has done nothing wrong during her racing career to date.
She led from start to finish to win the Gimcrack Stakes on debut and she has gone on to finish a tough second in the Wyong Magic Millions Classic and the BJ McLachlan.
Joshua Parr will ride her aggressively in the early stages of the race and she will be in the contest for a long way.
