Doomben - Race 4 4:38pm AEDT

No. 7 Beau Arrow

Beau Arrow is racing better than his form suggests and he gets in well at the weights for this contest. He will appreciate the step up in distance and he should be ready to peak third up here.

Doomben - Race 5 5:13pm AEDT

No. 4 Seat Of Power

Seat Of Power is a lightly raced five year old gelding with plenty of ability. He was dominant when winning a class 3 at Doomben on New Year’s Day and this distance looks ideal for him. I think he is better than this grade and he can continue to rise through the ranks with another win here.

Doomben - Race 6 5:48pm AEDT

No. 1 Pembroke Castle

Chris Waller has sent Pembroke Castle up north in recent times and although the I Am Invincible gelding has not broken through he has been racing well. He is being asked to carry the big weight in this contest however he has drawn reasonably well and can feature in the finish with even luck.

Doomben - Race 7 6:20pm AEDT

No. 4 Sugar Zone

After two failed runs in his debut prep this Chris Anderson trained gelding stepped out in a benchmark 65 at Doomben. He was very well backed in the race and scored by almost a length which suggests to me that the stable has high opinions of him. Watch betting again but he looks one to follow.
