Amici made up plenty of ground from the back to finish third in a 1200m 2yo
Handicap at Eagle Farm a fortnight ago and will appreciate the extra distance. Mishani
Machine was sent out as the favourite last start when fourth and also ran on
from the back and can figure amongst the prizemoney again. Poupee gets her
chance back in town after breaking through for her Maiden win at the Sunshine Coast
and the betting ring will be the best guide for the first starter Apache Chase.

has been placed over similar distances at Eagle Farm at her last two starts for
a third and a second and will get a lovely run from the inside gate. Breakdance
dictated from the front for an all the way win in a mid-week 2050m Doomben
BenchMark 75 Handicap and has strong claims again if left alone in front.
Etheridge comes to Eagle Farm on the back of a Warwick Farm win over 2110m and
Quality Seeker was a 2400m Randwuck winner three starts back.

Race 3 - 1:47pm
has very consistent recent form with two wins and three placings from her last
six starts and gets her chance to go one better after a last start second in a
1600m 3yo Handicap at Eagle Farm. Badoosh finished behind Violet in fifth place
at his most recent outing after running second at his previous starts over
1600m at the Sunshine Coast. Don’t Stop finished just behind the placegetters
in sixth place at his first visit to the city and look for another bold showing
and Cosmic Haze has earned a trip to town after breaking through for her Maiden
win at the Gold Coast.

Race 4 - 2:22pm
Admiral Jello is fitter for one run back from a long spell when fourth in a 1600m Eagle Farm Class 6 and look for improvement. Turnberry will get the run of the race from the rails draw and was a close up second in a Randwick 1600m BenchMark 88 Handicap three starts back. Savwell is fitter for a first up third over the Eagle Farm 1600m and if Akage can reproduce his Eagle Farm win two starts back can come into calculations again.

Race 5 - 2:58pm
Glory is resuming and has won first up in the past and will get every chance
from the inside gate. Blue Seattle also has handy first up form and is having her
first run since winning a 1050m Doomben BenchMark 75 Handicap in September.
Godfather’s Girl has won a recent Doomben barrier trial in preparation for her
return and Secret Lady is also a recent trial winner at Eagle Farm.
2 Units Trail Of Glory
Race 6 - 3:38pm
looks the goods coming off a last start win over 1000m at the Sunshine Coast and
will get a nice run again from an inside barrier. Boom Chicka Boom was back
amongst the prizemoney with a second up second over 1200m at Doomben and will have
no trouble jumping to the front again from the inside gate. Epic Girl has a win
and two placings from her last three starts and Guard Of Honour is also racing
well but has to carry the top weight of 59kg.

Race 7 - 4:18pm
Plitvice is climbing up in the weights but still has a great chance to claim a hat trick after wins at Doomben and Eagle Farm. Boom Boy got the job done at huge odds last start and has each way claims again. Smart As Attack is closing in on a win with seconds at his last two starts at the Gold Coast and Eagle Farm and Peppi La Few has handy Gold Coast form.

Race 8 - 5:00pm
Boy had handy form when last in work, has won first up in the past and has won
a recent Doomben barrier trial in preparation for his return to the track.
Profit will find this an easier assignment after finishing seventh in the Magic
Millions 3yo Guineas (1400m) at the Gold Coast and will appreciate apprentice
Stephanie Thornton’s 1.5kg claim. Star Of Michelin will be better for a first up
second over the same course and distance as this week’s assignment and look for
a better showing from Red Bloom.

Class 6 Plate
Ditmas was sent out as the favourite at his first run since September but could only mange to find third placing but he is worth another chance. Emerald Kingdom is the winner of his last three starts at Doomben and Eagle Farm and deserves his chance in a Saturday Class 6. Shalwa was back in the winner’s stall over this course and distance last start and has claims again and Boomtown Lass will find this a lot easier than her last start seventh in the Magic Millions QTIS Open over 1300m at the Gold Coast.
