Thousand Guineas winner Flit returned for the Autumn in great style with a comprehensive first up win in the Group 2 Light Fingers Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on February 15. The James Cummings trained filly will be even better suited over the 1400m of the Surround and will be hard to beat again.
Lyre was the star two year old of the 2019 Melbourne Autumn Carnival with her win in the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield but she failed to find the winner’s stall during the 2019 Spring Carnival. Spring with two unplaced runs but was able to hold on for third after leading

back on and expect improvement stepping up to the 1400m of the Surround Stakes.
