Greatest Three Year Old Crops Ranked

Facebooktwittermail

There was plenty of debate from Peter Moody and the lads on the Moody On The Mic Podcast this week on the current crop of three year old’s getting around at the moment.

We’ve seen Alabama Express take out the C.F. Orr Stakes, Loving Gaby the Ladbrokes Manikato, Castelvecchio second in the Ladbrokes Cox Plate, Super Seth second in the Futurity Stakes, Alligator Blood win nine of his first 10 races, Yes Yes Yes win The Everest and Standout win the Expressway Stakes.

Does this make them exceptional horses or is there a lack in quality in the older horses at the moment?

We’ve run through the best crops of three year old’s in the past 30 years and ranked them so that we can compare the credentials of the current crop!
