Niccanova is having his first run back since finishing second in the Listed Sunshine Coast Cup (1400m) at the Sunshine Coast in January and while he has won first up in the past, his best recent form has been over longer journeys.

One has already secured a spot in The Stradbroke Handicap, courtesy of his win
in The Gateway (1400m) at Eagle Farm in December and the four year old has
finished fourth at his two most recent runs this campaign.
One made up good ground when fourth last start in the Group 3 BRC Sprint (1200m)
at Doomben and will appreciate the bigger Eagle Farm track this week and is one
of the main contenders.
Signore Fox has been well beaten at his two runs this time in, his latest an eighth in the Listed Takeover Target Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on May 9, and will find this tougher.
Image put himself right in the picture with a last start nose second to Tambo’s
Mate in the Group 3 BRC Sprint (1200m) at Doomben and a repeat performance will
see him give this a shake.
