Race 1 - 11:50am
Vale Graham Salisbury (1110m)
With the scratching of Diamondesque, I’m happy to watch the opening race of the day.
Race 2 - 12:25pm
Le Pine Handicap (1600m)
Kaplumpich has been racing very consistently this prep without winning but the four year old gelding looks well placed in this event.
He was runner up in back to back races over the 1400m at Caulfield before he did all the work when chasing Holbien at The Valley last start before finishing fourth.
Thomas Stockdale jumps on top and claims two kgs which will only help.

Take It To The Neds Level Handicap (1440m)
Deserved returned from a spell with an impressive win at Ballarat over the 1200m and will only improve on that effort here.

Race 4 - 1:35pm
Father Brendan Dillon Handicap (1200m)
There are a number of horses that could win this very open race but I’m happy to be with Zabelarina at her current quote.
The lightly raced five year old Bel Espirit mare has won five of her 12 race starts including a 1.8 length win at Ballarat last start.
Young gun Declan Bates will steer from barrier nine.

Race 5 - 2:10pm
Hyland Sportswear EOFY Sale Handicap (1200m)
I’m happy to give Night Express another opportunity after failing at her last two attempts.
She will be much better suited to Caulfield and if Michael Rodd can get the Fastnet Rock filly some cheap sectionals in front, she will be tough to run down.
Love the fact they have freshened her up and dropped her back to 1200m.

Race 6 - 2:50pm
Neds Same Race Multi Handicap (1000m)
I’m happy to take on the horses at the top of the weights here and have found two at good prices.
Elderflower is yet to miss the placings from four career starts including a dominant win at Ballarat last start.
She drops down in weight and has drawn perfectly in barrier five.
Brazen Brando returned returned to the track with a three length win and although it was only a benchmark 58 at Pakenham, he ran a very slick time and was carrying 60.5kg.
He drops considerably in weight for this contest and also has young Thomas Stockdale on top from a good draw in barrier three.

Race 7 - 3:30pm
Neds Handicap (1100m)
I’m keen to take on the favourite Alfa Oro in this contest and with the scratching of Spirit Of Aqauada, who was my top pick, I’m happy to be with Sansom.
The three year old son of Charm Spirit has not finished worst than second at his last four runs and a race of this quality looks very winnable.

Race 8 - 4:05pm
Neds Money Back Odds Handicap (2000m)
Harbour Views returned to the winners stall last start at The Valley with a dominant display over the 2040m.
He is a very talented horse and this race looks no harder.

Race 9 - 4:38pm
Neds Toolbox Handicap (1440m)
Inn Keeper has been racing well of late without winning and he can end our day on a winning note.
He gets the weight relief with Thomas Stockdale on top and will some luck from a poor draw, he will be fighting out the finish.
