QTIS 2yo Class 2 Handicap (1350m)

Moonan Me is yet to win a race but was beaten just over a length when seventh in the Listed Dalrello Stakes (1200m) at Eagle Farm on June 13 and will find this a lot easier.

Ready To Bolt broke through for his Maiden win at the Gold Coast two starts back and then was third in a 1000m Sunshine Coast 2yo Handicap and looks suited here.

Luskin Hero is stepping up in class after winning an Ipswich Maiden on debut and Mandeville Rocker is coming off a 1400m Sunshine Coast 2yo Handicap.

Maiden Handicap (1640m)

Jerry Zanda has been trying hard to shed his Maiden tag with three placings from his last four starts, his latest a second as the odds on favourite in a 1640m Toowoomba Maiden and is one of the main chances again.

Just Wishing is also knocking on the door with three runner’s up cheques from his last four outings and Bring Me Showers is fitter for recent racing.

Keen On Gold has found the runner’s up stall at two runs from a spell, his latest a second in a 1350m Ipswich 3yo Maiden on June 17 and has claims here. Is also an acceptor in the 3yo Maiden Plate.

Blitzen Pasture showed improvement at his second race starts when third in a 1350m Ipswich Maiden and look for further improvement.

Loud Noise is fitter for one run back from a break.

Daytona Danica is fitter for one run back from a spell when fourth in an 1100m Ipswich Maiden and look for improvement.

War’s End has the blinkers on following his debut twelfth in a 1350m Ipswich Maiden and Makedon is fitter for one run back.

0 – 68 Handicap (2040m)

Dashing Special has some handy form over a middle distance with a win three starts back over 2200m at Ipswich and is coming off a third over 2200m in a Saturday class Doomben BenchMark 80 Handicap and looks suited here.

Fairy Me Home was placed three times before his last start fifth in a 1690m Ipswich BenchMark 78 Handicap and can be in the mix again.

Merlin’s Magic handled the wet conditions well last start with a six lengths win in a Gold Coast Class 2 and Momentum To Win is coming off a last start second in a 1690m Ipswich BenchMark 78 Handicap and the step up in distance won’t worry.

Class 3 Handicap (1640m)

Prinny’s Success hasn’t been far off the money of late and looks well placed here on his last start fourth in a 1666m Ipswich Class 4 a fortnight ago.

Top Me Up Again is stepping up in class after winning as favourite in a 1350m Ipswich Class 2 and has claims again.

Staying Black was rewarded for his consistency with a last start win in a 1600m Sunshine Coast Class 1.

BenchMark 70 Handicap (1200m)

No Refund is resuming and beat last Saturday’s Doomben winner Phobetor in a recent 1000m Doomben barrier trial. Is a winner over this course and distance and has won first up in the past.

Copywriter is also a winner over this course and distance and showed some improvement with a last start third in a 1200m Gold Coast BenchMark 85 Handicap.

I Dream Of Green has the blinkers back on after finishing sixth in a 1200m Eagle Farm BenchMark 75 Handicap on Stradbroke Handicap Day and Schweid As drops in weight on his last start third in an Ipswich 1200m Class 1 Plate.

Class 2 Plate (1350m)

Chicago O’Brien has solid form with a win and a second at his last two starts at Ipswich and has to be included among the main chances again.

Hail Manhattan is on the improve with a last start second in a 1350m Ipswich Class 2 and is facing similar opposition here.

Reus is the winner of two of his last three starts and is stepping up in grade following his latest win in a 1400m Gold Coast Class 1 and She’s Rubicool was beaten a nose first up when runner up in a 1200m Gold Coast BenchMark 68 Handicap and has won second up in the past.
