Cranbourne - Race 2 1:00pm AEST

No. 11 Durability

Durability is a talented young horse who has competing at a much higher level than this assignment today.

She was not far off the winner at Listed level in two races in Tasmania before a spell and her first up effort behind the smart Felicia over an unsuitable distance was promising.

She will appreciate the step down in distance and while this is still short of her ideal distance, she is well over the odds at $20.

Cranbourne - Race 3 1:35pm AEST

No. 9 Rice Queen

Rice Queen has had two runs back from a spell which including a narrow defeat last time out at Ballarat.

The daughter of Medaglia D’oro now gets out to a more suitable distance and her only start over 2000m resulted in a dominant win at Moe.

She has drawn well and looks well over the odds to my eye.

Cranbourne - Race 5 2:45pm AEST

No. 3 Diode

Diode has managed two wins and three placings from his eight career race starts.

He returned from a spell with a narrow defeat at Geelong first up over the 1200m and he will be much better for the run.

He has drawn perfectly in barrier two with Jake Noonan steering, and he looks the one to beat.

Eagle Farm - Race 6 3:28pm AEST

No. 7 Wirnpa

Wirnpa has been a very consistent gelding over the shorter distance in Brisbane for some time and her looks well placed again here over the short course.

He has won six times in 30 career race starts and four of those have come over the 1000m.

He has not been far away behind the smart Jami Lady and Royal Witness at his last two and has drawn to get a lovely run in transit from barrier three.
