Rockhampton - Race 3 1:17pm AEST

No. 5 North Afrika

North Afrika brings form from Victoria into this benchmark 58 race having raced at The Valley, Sandown and Cranbourne in recent times.

The five year old gelding has had two starts in Rockhampton and gets out to a more suitable distance in this event and has drawn the inside barrier.

He has been well supported in betting suggesting he’ll run well.

Rockhampton - Race 6 3:12pm AEST

No. 7 Valadyium

Valadyium has made the trip north for this Magic Millions Capricornia after doing all of her racing on the Sunshine Coast and in Brisbane.

She was beaten 6.7 lengths behind Prince Fawaz at Group 1 level as a two year old and has since won two races.

Her return from a spell was full of merit when fifth on the Sunshine Coast and she represents good value in this race.

Rockhampton - Race 8 4:27pm AEST

No. 3 Bargannon

The Rockhampton Cup is always a very even betting race with formlines coming from all over the state.

Bargannon from the David Vandyke stable looks well placed at his second run this prep from barrier three.

His run at Listed level over 1350m at Doomben first up was promising and he will only be better with that run under his belt and stepping up in distance.

Rockhampton - Race 9 5:02pm AEST

No. 1 Inquiry

Inquiry showed his class by leaving Rockhampton and heading south during the Winter where he had a fair amount of success.

His trip culminated in a win at Listed level over the 1350m last start and he has a big class edge on a lot of these runners.

He has managed 10 wins from just 23 career race starts and although he is being asked to carry the big weight from a wide barrier, he is more than capable of winning a race of this quality.
