Daily Racing Tips – Friday 7th August

Ballarat - Race 2 1:30pm AEST

No. 9 Dress

Dress found one better when making her racing debut at this track two weeks ago but her run was full of merit.

The daughter of Kingman will appreciate the step up in trip for this assignment and she looks the obvious pick from the good draw.

Ballarat - Race 5 3:00pm AEST

No. 4 Our Wind Spirit

Lightly raced five year old gelding Our Wind Spirit has won four his six career race starts which included two in a row to start this campaign.

He stepped out over the 1200m at Flemington last start and was well beaten behind Sakura but he will found this level of racing much easier.

Drawn well.

Ballarat - Race 6 3:30pm AEST

No. 6 Spanish Snitzel

This class 1 event lacks any depth and last start winner Spanish Snitzel represents some value in the contest.

The colt by Choisir broke through for his maiden win at his fourth career start last start by almost a length and if he can improve off that effort, he will be right in this.

Ballarat - Race 7 4:00pm AEST

No. 3 Sensitivity

Sensitivity put together two impressive wins in a row by a combined 5.3 lengths before being completely outclassed at Morphettville last start.

The I Am Invincible mare has a fair amount of class and John Allen jumps aboard and steers from the inside barrier.
