Race 1 - 1:11pm

C,G & E Class 3 Handicap (1200m)

Great Keppell will be fitter for one run back from a spell when fifth in an 1110m Doomben BenchMark 70 Handicap. Look for improvement.

Better Than Groovy has been racing well at the Sunshine Coast with a win two starts back in a 1200m BenchMark 62 Handicap followed by a second in a 1200m BenchMark 65 Handicap and can be in the mix again.

Blueant is a last start Gold Coast winner in an 1100m Class 1 and Alpendurada is resuming and the betting will be the best guide.

Maiden Handicap (1100m)

Kandanga Miss is resuming and has won a recent 840m Doomben barrier trial is preparation for her return and follow any betting moves.

Boom Express is fitter for one run back from a spell for a second in a 1000m Eagle Farm Maiden and can be thereabouts again.

 Batangas Entry is resuming and was placed three times in Maiden Class before a break. Has finished third in a recent 840m Doomben barrier trial and Shamaton will be better following his debut seventh in a 1200m Eagle Farm Maiden.

Race 3 - 2:21pm

Class 6 Handicap (1100m)

Malahide was beaten less than a length as favourite is a 1200m F&M Quality at Doomben and will appreciate the drop in class and gets her chance to find the winner’s stall again.

Weboughtazou scored a handy first up win in a 1000m Sunshine Coast Handicap and can be thereabouts again.

Bold Style is dropping back to mid-week company following a fifth in a 1200m Doomben 3yo Handicap in July and Mountbatten is stepping up in distance following his last start win in a 1000m mid-week Eagle Farm BenchMark 75 Handicap.

Race 4 - 2:56pm

Maiden Handicap (1400m)

Sacred Suite was runner up two starts back over this course and distance and then finished third in a 1600m Eagle Farm Maiden and gets his chance to breakthrough for his Maiden win here.

Trumped Up hasn’t been far off the mark with two seconds before his last start fourth in a 1600m Eagle Farm Maiden and facing similar opposition here.

Pittsburgh Phil is resuming and has won a recent 1000m Gold Coast barrier trial and Endless Sizzle showed improvement last start with a third in a 1400m Sunshine Coast Maiden.

Race 5 - 3:31pm

QTIS 3yo Maiden Plate (1400m)

Pernell has been runner up at his last two start in Maiden class at the Gold Coast and at Eagle Farm and gets his chance here with a crossover noseband going on for the first time.

Deep Sceiva finished third on debut as favourite in a 1200m Eagle Farm Maiden and can figure in the mix again.

Look for improvement from Nashwah who is all the better for a debut fifth in a 1200m Eagle Farm Maiden.

Race 6 - 4:06pm

BenchMark 72 Handicap (1300m)

All Important is dropping back to mid-week company following his latest sixth in a 1350m Doomben Class 6 and will find this easier.  

Mantelli has been placed at his last two starts at Eagle Farm with a second in a 1400m BenchMark 75 Handicap followed by a third in a 1400m Class 4 and is one of the main chances again.

Yu Long Sheng Hui wasn’t far off the pace last start with a third in a 1400m Sunshine Coast BenchMark 70 Handicap.

Race 7 - 4:41pm

F&M Class 3 Handicap (1200m)

Our Swan Lake was impressive in winning an 1100m Gold Coast F&M Class 1 last start and will be hard to beat.

Unguarded is a last winner as favourite in a 1100m Ipswich Class 3 Plate and has claims again and Dolly Spartan has been very consistent at three runs back from a spell for a third and a second before her last start win in an 1100m Ipswich F&M Class 2.

Race 8 - 5:16pm

BenchMark 72 Handicap (1800m)

Sayl has been placed three times since winning a 1650m Doomben BenchMark 72 Handicap, his latest a second in an 1800m Eagle Farm Class 2 and is one of the main chances.

Missed The Alarm meets Willo Titto better at the weights and gets his chance to reverse the placings after they finished first and second in an 1800m Sunshine Coast BenchMark 65 Handicap.  

Takeittothelimit found the winner’s stall again at his second run back in a 1666m Ipswich Class 5 and can make his presence felt.
