PUNTERS PAL

Souths have found their best form in perfect timing and they delivered punters another healthy result in Week 2 of the finals.

The Eels flew the blocks and looked like they were going to take beating, but Souths didn’t panic, fought back into the contest and ultimately iced the result in the second half.

They covered the line, ensured that the Total Match Points mark finished ‘over’, and a big bet of 60K on the Bunnies at the line (13.5 points) also lobbed.

BOOKIES BEST

Both matches in Week 2 of the finals fell in favour of the punters, but the bookies did salvage a couple of small wins.

Notable wins for the book included a 25K bet on the Roosters at the line (-6) and a 16K live bet on the Eels at $1.70.

FIRST TRY FILL UP

BACKING THE FUTURE

Two changes in the Premiership market this week, headlined by another positive move made by South Sydney.

Despite having a week off, Melbourne also firmed in betting.

PREMIERSHIP MOVES

Rabbitohs – $12 > $7.50
Storm – $3.10 > $2.75
