The international break is over and club football is ready to resume across Europe!
We’re casting a wide net for our five best bets of the weekend starting with one of the best derbies in all of football.
Read on to see who we are backing in our weekly preview!
Saturday 17 October, 10:30pm, Celtic Park
Even without fans, this derby promises to be something special given the history of heated contests between the two sides.
Both of these sides head into this clash with unbeaten records in the league and Celtic have won their last seven in the league and eight in all competitions.
Rangers are in good form themselves winning 10 of their last 12 in all competitions with two league draws in that time as well.
It’s been a while since we have seen a draw between these sides but with both sides desperate not to lose ground this early in the season, they may be forced to settle for a point each.

Sunday 18 October, 12:30am, WWK Arena
It’s a top of the Bundesliga clash this Saturday night as Augsberg and RB Leipzig face off for the first time this season.
Leipzig won both matches last season and have the much stronger squad between the two sides.
With eight goals scored on the season already, I’ll back Leipzig to continue their strong form in front of goal and come away with all three points.

Sunday 18 October, 1:00am, Estadio de Balaídos
Atletico’s season got off to such a promising start, belting Granada 6-1 in their opening fixture before back to back 0-0 draws sucked any and all momentum out of the team.
They have addressed that issue with the signing of Luis Suarez from Barcelona who might not quite be the same striker he was five years ago but is still one of the most ruthless finishers in the game.
The good news about Atletico’s form slump is that it has made them a good value play this weekend and well worth a punt on.
Back Atletico Madrid to Win @ $1.75
Sunday 18 October, 5:00am, Coliseum Alfonso Perez
I’ll double down on the traditional La Liga powerhouses this weekend with Barcelona visiting Getafe.
The hosts were in the midst of their best start to a La Liga campaign with seven points from their opening three matches before a 3-0 loss to Real Sociedad burst that bubble.
Barcelona is playing catch up after a later start date thanks to the delayed completion of last season’s Champions League but they have looked like a much stronger side this season.
After threatening to leave, it seems like Lionel Messi is ready to roll for another season and history says this should be a fairly straightforward three points for them.
They have won four in a row against Getafe and have not lost a match to them since November 2011.
Once again, the mega-club looks to be over the odds here and I’ll happily jump on them here.
Back Barcelona to Win @ $1.72
Sunday 18 October, 5:00am, Stade Velodrome
Marseille will have used the international break to sort out their inability to pick up all three points, drawing their last three matches 1-1.
This is a fixture that has been dominated by the home team with four of the last five being won by the hosts and the last away win coming in May 2008.
There’s value to be had on Marseille breaking down a stingy Bordeaux backline.
