Another quality eight-race meeting will take place at Caulfield on Wednesday and there is enormous value to be found across the entire card.

We’ve analysed each and every field and offer our best bets below.

Race 1 - 2:40pm AEDT

Neds Same Race Multi Handicap (1100m)

Crazy Ladies returned a huge result on debut for the Busuttin and Young team finishing second over a touch further at this same venue on Boxing Day.

The Snitzel filly will only be better for that performance and she’s drawn to get a much kinder run in transit this time from barrier two.

The extra 3kg of Daniel Moor leaves her more work to do, but she should be finishing off strongly against this inexperienced field.

Unleash Your Neds Toolbox Plate (1100m)

All Stardom is only lightly raced, but this does look a winnable contest for him to break his maiden.

The son of All Too Hard debuted well for second at Mornington back in August before returning another solid result first-up at Sale a fortnight ago for third.

He’s sure to improve on his latest effort, and with little speed on offer, he should be able to roll forward and give his rivals something to catch.

Race 3 - 3:50pm AEDT

Neds Filter Form Plate (1200m)

Palace Whisper has raced well without winning in her short career finishing no worse than fourth in all four of her starts.

The three-year-old by Street Boss is having her second run back on Wednesday after just missing out on a place first-up at Mornington a fortnight ago.

She’ll be fitter for that effort and Damian Lane has a wide range of options at his disposal from the inside draw.

Race 4 - 4:25pm AEDT

Benchmark 64 Handicap (1000m)

It’s been nearly a year since Princess Flagrant tasted her last win, but the mare does appear well-placed in this field with in-form rider Jamie Kah in the saddle.

The six-year-old unleashed with a big run to finish third last start at Mornington over the same trip, while she wasn’t far off either three back at Moe.

She’s almost never runs a bad race over this distance and maps to get a tidy run in transit just off the speed.

Race 5 - 5:00pm AEDT

Benchmark 64 Handicap (1800m)

Perennial has found the placings in back-to-back starts and looks ready to win now going from the mile back up to the 1800m.

The Peter Moody-trained mare finished a length second to Tarn’s Prince over this trip at Sandown two runs back before finding the mile a touch too short a few weeks ago behind last Saturday’s odds-on Flemington favourite, White Hibiscus.

The form out of that race reads very well for this contest and Will Price’s 2kg claim should give her every chance.

Race 6 - 5:30pm AEDT

Benchmark 64 Handicap (1200m)

Diamond Thora bolted in to win by 1.5L on New Year’s Eve at Echuca and she’s more than capable of replicating that performance under the experienced hand of Mark Zahra.

The mare by Star Witness loves to go forward, but I’m expecting her to settle back this time around after unleashing a huge turn of foot second-up from a spell.

She also has a win on the board third-up, and with a genuine tempo expected on paper, she should be doing her best work late.

Race 7 - 6:00pm AEDT

Benchmark 70 Handicap (1200m)

Seven Castles strips fitter for his first-up where he charged late to fill the placings at Warrnambool over a touch shorter.

With two wins on the board, the son of Foxwedge tends to fly in his second run back from a spell and he should be afforded every opportunity to add to that record from the soft draw.

He has an equally impressive record over this trip and Laura Lafferty’s apprentice claim has been put to good use.

Race 8 - 6:30pm AEDT

Benchmark 70 Handicap (1440m)

Flandersrain has an impressive first-up record on his resume and she does look a decent winning chance here over her preferred trip.

The Matt Cumani-trained mare raced among much tougher company last time in work finishing third in the Group 3 Alexandra Stakes at Moonee Valley last March.

She doesn’t win out of turn, but this appears to be well within her grasp.
