Peter Moody’s 2021 Magic Millions Classic Tips

The Magic Millions Classic has drawn an outstanding field and our man Peter Moody is extremely excited for the feature race at the Gold Coast on Saturday.

He has analysed the entire field and his complete Magic Millions Classic tips can be found below.

Winner – Swift Witness

I think that the fillies have the edge over the boys heading into the Magic Millions Classic and Swift Witness has the right profile for this race.

She made her racing debut with a credible third place finish in the Wyong Magic Millions Classic and she improved on that effort to win the Aquis Gold Pearl at the Gold Coast on Saturday.

I like the fact that she is on the quick back-up and she will make her own luck right on the speed with Brenton Avdulla in the saddle.

2nd – She’s All Class

She’s All Class will need some luck in running from the wide barrier draw, but I am still confident that she will be in the finish.

There was plenty to like about the way that she got the job done in the Wyong Magic Millions Classic and the form coming out of that contest has been strong.

James McDonald will settle her in the second half of the field and she will be flying home late.

3rd – Alpine Edge

Alpine Edge has done nothing wrong during his racing career to date and he is the best local chance in the Magic Millions Classic.

He showed his class to beat a strong field in the BJ McLachlan and he still has the scope to improve.

The $8 over the odds is genuine value.

4th – Shaquero

Shaquero might be the x-factor in the Magic Millions Classic.

It takes a good horse to win the Breeders’ Plate and there was plenty of merit in that victory.

He flopped first-up in the BJ McLachlan, but he was excellent in the Aquis Gold Nugget at the Gold Coast on Saturday and he should be ready to peak in this contest.
