Eight races will be contested at Ladbrokes Park on Wednesday, February 24th.
The rail will be set out twelve metres around the entire course and at publish, we’re faced with a track rated in the Good (4) range.
Race 1 - 3:40pm AEDT
Ladbrokes Plate (1500m)
Bellinger is unlucky not to have won either of his two starts back from a spell but gets another chance at Ladbrokes Park on Wednesday.
The Zoustar gelding didn’t show a whole lot during his debut prep, but has flashed home to finish second in two races at Pakenham.
Fitter third-up, I’m happy to dive in at even money.

Race 2 - 4:15pm AEDT
IVE Print Plate (1000m)
There isn’t much exposed form to dig through ahead of this race, but it’s a big drop in class for Tempest Charm and she is up to winning.
The Trust In A Gust filly has contested three good races since making her debut and return from a spell to finish a credible fifth in the Group 2 Blue Diamond Prelude for fillies.
With improvement, this shapes as a very winnable race for her.

Clanbrooke Racing Handicap (1500m)
This shapes as a very winnable race for White Hibiscus.
The Danny O’Brien-trained mare contested some good races in her native New Zealand before crossing the ditch, ending her tenure with a run in last year’s New Zealand Oaks, albeit a failed tilt.
She debuted in Australia off a lengthy spell for second over 1300m here at Ladbrokes Park before beating some quality runners in BM64 company two starts back.
I like that she has trialled since her last start and she’ll take plenty of beating in this.

Thoroughbred Club Handicap (2400m)
Resurge doesn’t win out of turn, but he has been a consistent performer this time and I’m happy to have something on each-way at Ladbrokes Park on Wednesday.
The So You Think gelding found form around some quality gallopers in South Australia and arrived in Victoria for a credible fourth, beaten just over a length and a half over 2040m at The Valley.
He returned a similar performance for the same result last time out and the rise in trip this week looks to suit.

Race 5 - 2:45pm
Tile Importer Handicap (1500m)
Tycoon Bucks will take winning form into her race at Ladbrokes Park on Wednesday and can continue her rise through the grades.
The Written Tycoon mare has finished worse than second once at her last five appearances, and was rewarded for her improving condition with a dominant win at Ballarat last time out.
She gets into this race well under the conditions and it looks the next obvious step for her.

Race 6 - 6:30pm AEDT
Ladbrokes Switch Handicap (1800m)
Rebel Racer has improved for two starts back this time and is ready to win.
The Rebel Raider gelding needed the run when he tired to finish midfield at Kilmore when resuming, but returned a far better effort to finish fourth behind the talented Flandersrain last time out.
There is no horse of that quality in this race, the rise in trip suits, as does the booking of Jamie Kah.

Race 7 - 7pm AEDT
MRC Members Handicap (1000m)
Beaverbrook tends to enjoy good improvement with a run under his belt and looms as a winning chance in the penultimate race Ladbrokes Park this week.
The Written Tycoon gelding returned plenty of good efforts last time in and returned from a credible fifth, beaten two and a half lengths at Flemington after settling back in the field.
With improvement and settling a little closer this week, he’ll be hard to hold out.

Race 8 - 7:30pm AEDT
Quayclean Handicap (1300m)
Hot In Paris looks to have returned in slick form this time and can record another win at Ladbrokes Park on Wednesday.
The Team Corstens-trained mare charged home to score in BM58 company at Echuca when resuming and only just missed beaten Need New Friends here last time out.
I like that she’s four weeks between runs and she needs only even luck to be in the finish again.
