Daily Racing Tips – Sunday 11th April
Ballarat - Race 1 1:40pm AEST
No. 4 Minola
Minola is a promising staying mare that should relish the step-up to 2600 metres for the first time.
She outstayed a stronger field than this to win at Warrnambool last start and a repeat of that effort would make her very tough to beat.
Paul Preusker is a master trainer of stayer and he looks to have another very promising mare on his hands.
Ballarat - Race 5 3:00pm AEST
No. 6 Charity Spirit
Charity Spirit made her racing debut with a second place finish behind Biscayne Bay and she looks like a filly with plenty of upside.
She showed a nice turn-of-foot in that contest and the step-up to 1400 metres looks ideal for her.
She is well-placed to claim a maiden race win.
Ballarat - Race 6 4:25pm AEST
No. 1 Galactus
Galactus has form around some quality horses and he finds himself in a very winnable contest at Ballarat this afternoon.
On his best form he does have a genuine class edge over the rest of this field and he maps to get a lovely run in transit with Damian Lane in the saddle.
Ballarat - Race 8 5:25pm AEST
No. 2 Rose Of Sebring
Rose Of Sebring returned to the races with a most impressive win at Ballarat and a repeat of that effort would make her very tough to beat in this grade.
On exposed form she does look like the best filly in this field and I am confident that she will end up in much stronger races than this one.
