Daily Racing Tips – Brierly Steeplechase Day Special
Warrnambool - Race 4 1:15pm AEST
No. 8 Bubbly Lass
Bubbly Lass has raced well without winning during his racing career to date and she is very well-placed to claim a maiden race win.
She has generally raced in stronger company than this and on exposed form she does have a genuine class edge over the rest of this field.
Barrier three is ideal and she maps to get a lovely run in transit with John Allen in the saddle.
Warrnambool - Race 5 1:45pm AEST
No. 2 Cardigan Queen
There was plenty to like about the way that Cardigan Queen performed on debut at Bendigo and she is well-placed to win the VOBIS Gold Strike at Warrnambool this afternoon.
She showed a lovely turn-of-foot on debut at Bendigo and there is no doubt that she will take good benefit from that performance.
Barrier three is ideal and she will be storming home in the concluding stages of this race.
Warrnambool - Race 6 2:20pm AEST
No. 1 Bit Of A Lad
The Brierly Steeplechase headlines the action at Warrnambool this afternoon and I don’t think that there is as much between Bit Of A Lad and Flying Agent as the current market suggests.
Bit Of A Lad won the Australian Steeplechase and the Thackeray Steeplechase last year and he is the proven performer in this field.
His record at Warrnambool is excellent and the $5 currently available is outstanding value.
Warrnambool - Race 9 4:00pm AEST
No. 6 Boom Boom Becker
Boom Boom Becker is not the most consistent horse in the world, but he is capable of a high-rating performance on his day.
He is a much better horse than his last start effort at Terang suggests and if he can return to his best form he will be right in the mix.
Damian Lane in the saddle is a big advantage and he will have every possible chance with Damian Lane in the saddle.
