The chase for Charlie continues to heat up with another star Demon throwing his name into the hat.
Despite a controversial loss to Adelaide, Clayton Oliver has firmed significantly in betting and now joins teammate Christian Petracca at single digits.
Another key Lion, Jarryd Lyons, has also been a big market mover following Brisbane’s massive win over Richmond last Friday night, while a key Brownlow favourite has also drifted slightly.

Our Round 10 Votes
Brisbane Lions v Richmond
Carlton v Hawthorn
Geelong Cats v Gold Coast Suns
Adelaide Crows v Melbourne
Western Bulldogs v St Kilda
Fremantle v Sydney Swans
GWS Giants v West Coast Eagles
Collingwood v Port Adelaide
Essendon v North Melbourne
Clayton Oliver –
$17.00 – $9.00
Finally, the bookies are giving this man the respect he deserves.
Oliver has sat atop our Big Board for the last few weeks as he continues to rack up monster numbers, much like he did last Saturday against the Crows with three goals and a casual 38 disposals.
Christian Petracca and Max Gawn have cooled off a little recently, which in turn has seen Oliver firm significantly in betting.
He currently leads the league in contested possessions and ranks third in disposals, and if he puts up big numbers against the Dogs on Friday night, you can expect that price above to be trimmed even further.
Jarryd Lyons –
$81.00 – $34.00
There’s been another big Brisbane firmer after Hugh McCluggage saw his price slashed last week.
Jarryd Lyons has quietly been flying under the radar all season, but it appears as though the bookies have caught on to the star midfielder following another sensational game in the win over Richmond last Friday.
Lyons has had a serious case of leather poisoning for most of the season, while he’s also been a tackling machine ranking 13th overall in the category.
Winning it from here would take something special, but he’s worth keeping an eye on to finish inside the Top 10.
Dustin Martin –
$5.00 – $7.00
Another quiet game against Brisbane has left Dusty on the drift again.
The three-time Norm Smith Medalist came roaring back into calculations with a big performance against the Giants two weeks ago, but a measly 17 touches and five tackles against the Lions has taken a direct hit on his chances.
Fortunately, Dusty and the ‘Tiges have a chance to get back on track this week against the Crows.
Martin has averaged 24 disposals and two goals in 14 games against Adelaide, so you can’t write him off just yet.
