Daily Racing Tips – Wednesday 16th June
Ladbrokes Park Sandown - Race 2 1:00pm AEST
No. 7 Whatafox
Whatafox raced well on debut in what looked like a tougher race than this one and she should take good improvement from that performance.
The step-up to 1300 metres looks ideal for her and she does have the benefit of Jamie Kah in the saddle.
I am keen to take on this favourite and I wouldn’t be surprised if Whatafox starts much shorter than her current quote.
Ladbrokes Park Sandown - Race 3 1:35pm AEST
No. 4 Ocean's Jen
Ocean’s Jen returned to the races with a classy win at Ladbrokes Park Sandown and it would not surprise if she is able to string some wins together.
The Ocean Park filly clearly has plenty of upside and I like the fact that she has been kept at 1300 metres.
Barrier one is ideal and she should have every possible chance in the run.
Ladbrokes Park Sandown - Race 4 2:10pm AEST
No. 4 Spooning
Spooning hasn’t had a huge amount of luck in her past two race starts and she has an excellent chance to return to winning form this afternoon.
She was gallant in defeat when she finished third behind Cherry Tortoni in the Adelaide Guineas and she wasn’t given the best ride when she was beaten at Ladbrokes Park Sandown last start.
Jamie Kah can settle her closer to the speed from the inside barrier draw and I am confident that she is the best filly in this field.
Ladbrokes Park Sandown - Race 7 3:55pm AEST
No. 6 Love Broker
Love Broker has recorded two wins from his past three starts and he is great value to continue his winning ways.
He put away his rivals in very impressive fashion last start, despite being caught wide, and he still does have the upside to improve.
$7.50 is well and truly over the odds in what is a very open race.
