Daily Racing Tips – Monday 21st June
Muswellbrook - Race 2 12:45pm AEST
No. 1 Andorra La Vella
Three year old colt Andorra La Vella makes his racing debut in this 1000m scamper at Muswellbrook this afternoon and will carry the top weight.
He has had the benefit of a trial leading into this first up assignment and I loved the way he chased the tear away leader at Scone, making up significant ground late.
Muswellbrook - Race 4 1:55pm AEST
No. 6 Kikikapow
Despite winning just once in 17 career starts, Kikikapow looks the obvious choice in the fourth race of the afternoon.
She has been narrowly defeated in two of her last three attempts at the races and should be nearing peak fitness at this stage in her prep.
No one has ridden more winners at Muswellbrook than Aaron Bullock this season and he can give the mare a nice run in transit from barrier three.
Muswellbrook - Race 5 2:35pm AEST
No. 3 Mr Whitacre
Mr Whitacre is yet to break through for a win in his short career but he has been placed three times from five attempts.
He returned from a spell with a narrow second at Tamworth over 1200m and he looks a stand out in a race that lacks a whole heap of depth.
Muswellbrook - Race 6 3:10pm AEST
No. 2 Bedtime Stories
Bedtime Stories dropped down in grade to score at this track last time out and she looks over the odds to my eye in the sixth race of the afternoon.
The best jockey available at Muswellbrook this afternoon, Aaron Bullock, actually rode the favourite in this race last start so assuming he had the choice between the two horse and he’s chosen this mare instead.
