Daily Racing Tips – Wednesday 23rd June
Canterbury - Race 4 3:10pm AEST
No. 6 Savvy Legend
Savvy Legend is a lightly raced four year old gelding who has managed two wins and three placings from seven career starts.
He ran into one better when resuming this prep at Newcastle and then broke through at that same track last time out.
The step up in trip suits at this stage in his prep and he has proven that he handles the wet track in his last start win.
Canterbury - Race 6 4:20pm AEST
No. 5 Yukon
Yukon was excellent in his debut racing campaign last time in winning twice and placing on another two occasions from four starts.
The three year old gelding was posted wide for the entire trip when resuming at Randwick and it ultimately took it’s toll late in the race over 1300m.
He will take benefit out of that tough run, the step up in trip suits and he should get a better run in transit from the inside alley.
Doomben - Race 4 2:18pm AEST
No. 3 So Clever
So Clever could not have been much more impressive when winning on debut by a huge 3.25 lengths on the Gold Coast two and a half weeks ago.
He has earned his shot in town now and although this is a big step up in class, he looks a really talented young and progressive type of horse.
Doomben - Race 5 2:53pm AEST
No. 3 Tears Of Love
Tears Of Love has put together back to back wins to kick start this campaign and will be looking to peak at this stage in his prep.
He has led all the way in both of those wins and young Madeleine Wishart can take that same approach in this race from the inside barrier.
The step up in distance will suit.
