Flemington - Race 3 2:10pm AEST

No. 11 Tramontana

Tramontana showed a real turn of foot to win his maiden last start at Ballarat and a repeat performance would make him tough to beat.

The Lindsay Park-trained colt found an extra gear after racing close to the speed, and the way he finished through the line suggests he’s ready for 1400m now.

This is tougher, but after finishing less than three lengths off the winner in the Listed Anzac Day Stakes over the same track and trip, he looks up to it.

Flemington - Race 6 2:10pm AEST

No. 5 Footlights

Footlights won well on debut at Cranbourne last month and was seen doing his best work late over the mile last time out.

The Savabeel colt hit the line strongly despite copping a knock down the straight, and if he gets clear running room this time around, he should prove hard to hold out.

Damien Oliver can get back from the soft draw and save his best for late.

Flemington - Race 7 4:30pm AEST

No. 3 Mr Brightside

Mr Brightside brings an impressive four-race winning streak to Flemington after coming from midfield to win comfortably at Moonee Valley a fortnight ago.

The lightly-raced four-year-old has been ticking all the boxes of late and this race really doesn’t look any tougher.

Craig Williams has been responsible for all four of his wins and barrier 6 should allow him to take a similar sit and stalk the speed.

Flemington - Race 8 5:05pm AEST

No. 16 Narvaez

Narvaez strips fitter for his first-up run when second at Sandown three weeks ago over 1200m.

He went straight to the front that day and showed plenty over the final furlong to make the winner earn it.

Craig Williams retains the ride, and with three placings to his name aboard the four-year-old, he might prove the difference.
