Caulfield - Race 2 2:00pm AEDT

No. 2 Duais

There isn’t as much between Duais and Floating Artist as the current Coongy Cup market suggests.

Duias looked set for a big campaign when she finished third in the Cameron Handicap first-up before she was a little bit disappointing in the Hill Stakes.

There is no doubt that she is a better mare than that effort suggests and her best form is more than good enough to win this contest.

Caulfield - Race 6 4:25pm AEDT

No. 1 Profiteer

Profiteer has an excellent chance to return to winning form in the Blue Sapphire Stakes.

He didn’t handle the early pressure against the older horses in the Moir Stakes, but this is a genuine drop back in class and he should be able to find the front fairly comfortably.

The Capitalist colt is the class horse in this field and he can get his Spring campaign back on track.

Caulfield - Race 7 5:05pm AEDT

No. 7 Heresy

Heresy is the value runner in what is a very open edition of the Thousand Guineas.

She has been thereabouts without winning in the Quezette Stakes, McNeil Stakes and Thousand Guineas Prelude and she has had very little luck in all of those races.

Damien Oliver will be able to settle her right on the speed from the inside barrier draw and it is no surprise that she has been well-backed early.

Caulfield - Race 8 5:45pm AEST

No. 9 Sirileo Miss

Sirileo Miss has recorded two classy wins from as many race starts this campaign and she is the horse to beat in the Ladies’ Day Vase.

She is a progressive mare that has improved each time that she has been seen at the races and the scary thing for her rivals is that she still has a stack of upside.

Barrier four is perfect for her and she will get a lovely run in transit with Linda Meech in the saddle.
