No. 2 New York Baby
New York Baby is outstanding value at her current quote in Desirable Stakes betting.
She has gone close without winning in the Thoroughbred Club Stakes and the Crockett Stakes and this race is no tougher.
Barrier one suits her and she will have every possible chance with Damien Oliver in the saddle.
Flemington - Race 6 3:50pm AEDT
No. 8 Malkovich
Malkovich is a sprinter that I have a big opinion of and he is deserving of his status as a clear favourite in Century Stakes betting.
His first-up run behind Oxley Road in the Caulfield Sprint was excellent and this race is no tougher.
He has scored three wins from his four race starts over 1000 metres and I don’t think that the Flemington straight will be an issue for him.
Flemington - Race 7 4:30pm AEDT
No. 2 Riot And Rose
Riot And Rose will need some luck in running from the wide barrier draw, but I think that he is a horse with a big future.
He has scored four wins from as many race starts and he has improved every time that he has been seen at the races.
Luke Nolen will settle him in the second half of the field and he will be storming home late.
Flemington - Race 8 5:10pm AEDT
No. 1 Elusive Express
Elusive Express is the horse to beat in what is far from the strongest edition of the Kennedy Oaks.
She has not put a foot wrong during her racing career to date and she was excellent in both the Edward Manifold Stakes and the Thousand Guineas.
The big step-up in trip is a genuine concern, but I think that she is the class horse in this field and he is bred to stay.
