Menangle - Race 3 3:12PM AEDT

No. 3 Watts Up Majestic

A member of Rickie Alchins prominent Menangle stable, this three year old started his campaign in a stunning manner, producing two breathtaking wins at this track.

Following those wins, the well bred gelding was tested against the best trotters of his age in Victoria, most recently finishing sixth beaten 10.2m when racing with minimal luck in a Group One event.

Although racing against the older horses today, he maps as the likely leader with his trainer also taking the reins, and from there he looks an incredible betting proposition at short odds.

No. 6 Hands On

Although the favourite does look well placed in this event, this Tony Bertwistle trained runner was a dominant victor at his last start seven days ago, clocking a strong mile rate in the process.

The gelding showed brilliant gate speed with driver Darren Binskin aboard there, and it is likely in the small field the son of Bettors Delight will be driven aggressively here once more under Binskin’s hand.

With third dividend in play, the six-time race winner is a brilliant each-way play.

Menangle - Race 7 5:37PM AEST

No. 4 Scoob Operator

The Dean Cernovskis trained-and-driven Scoob Operator has returned to racing off a brief let up in fine fettle, clocking splendid closing sectionals at both runs this time in.

At his most recent outing, the gelding raced well without any luck behind Ziggy Rocks in a better quality race.

Drawn to settle behind leader and favourite Sicario, the now seven-year-old should be able to out-sprint the favourite in the straight and looks a smart bet.
