Daily Harness Tips – Tuesday 7th December

Menangle - Race 2 2:52PM AEDT

No. 3 Gunner

This recent trotting acquisition to the leading KerryAnn Morris stable has shown gradual improvement at both runs for the stable, and looks a great chance today.

At his first run for the stable two starts ago, the gelding stepped well off of a 10m handicap to be beaten 5.9m in a similar race, then sat parked to be beaten 8.1m in another similar event last start.

Drawn to lead today, and enhanced by the engagement of driver Robbie Morris, this son of Quaker Jet has more upside then a lot of these runners and should be able to secure his first stable victory today.

Menangle - Race 5 4:46PM AEDT

No. 6 Makoa

In a claiming event with quite a long tail, this Leon Jurd prepared runner holds winning claims.

Having had only two starts for the stable, this twenty time race winner has run encouragingly at both starts for the new camp, racing well with no luck two starts ago prior to running strong closing splits in an on-pace dominated race seven days ago, in which they clocked a stellar mile rate.

Likely to be driven hard today, and suited by the addition of sliding block eyes, if this son of Art Major can enjoy a good enough run in transit, he should be winning.

Menangle - Race 7 5:59PM AEST

No. 3 Double Act

The Heston Blue Chip three-year-old returned off the back of a near nine month let-up seven days ago, and recorded a simply sublime victory in the process, rating a mile in 1:51.7.

Likely to have derived a world of improvement from that run, second-up in a slightly stronger field, this gelding should be able to dictate the race and prove too strong from there.
