Penrith - Race 1 6:13PM AEDT

No. 4 Ripstone Snorter

This Terry Frost trained youngster has proved to be a model of consistency throughout his career thus far, recording five placing from eight starts, but remarkably so remains a maiden!

At his latest race, the son of Pet Rock raced well with minimal luck in transit, beaten a tick of 20m by a smart type. However prior to that outing, the gelding was beaten under a metre over tonight’s track-distance.

Blessed with enough gate speed to settle handy, and suited by the engagement of in-form driver David Morris in this maiden event, the two-year-old looks a brilliant bet at a nice enough price.

Penrith - Race 3 7:18PM AEDT

No. 10 King Of Corey

In a handy field, this David Waite prepared runner looks to be a solid chance after the imperative scratchings of both the barrier 8 and 9 horses.

This gelding has enjoyed a bountiful campaign to date, recording two wins and a placing from seven starts. At his latest effort, the son of Safely Kept lead and Goulburn, and was run down late in strong time. The form from that race has been franked, with Hellofalass coming out and winning a stronger race than this last week.

Although he may start race favourite Yankee Ideal a start, with leading driver Cameron Hart aboard this gelding is a solid each-way bet.

Penrith - Race 5 8:15PM AEST

No. 8 Volando Denario

Suited by the return to this course and night racing, this enigmatic mare is a brilliant bet at odds, especially in the eight horse field.

At her latest start, this team McDowell trained mare put on quite the display, refusing to score up at both attempts. The mare then chased hard to catch the remainder of the field, ultimately only going down by 20m.

Provided this mare brings her best manners and driver Llyeton Green gives her a comfortable run in transit, a forward showing is much anticipated.
