Redcliffe - Race 1 4:57pm
No. 4 Dinosaurus Rex
This looms as a race in two between Just One Good One and Dinosaurus Rex, and I am eager to have something on the latter.
The seven-year-old gelding has had two starts back from a spell, tuning up with a fair effort for sixth first-up before charging home to record an eye-catching two metre win here last time out.
Fitter third-up and in this small field, he can go on with the job.
Redcliffe - Race 2 5:21pm
No. 1 Teachers Pet
Teachers Pet’s recent form has been nothing short of outstanding, and she is the one that I want to be with in this Trot Rods Final Heat.
Teacher’s Pet returned to winning form with an impressive effort here three back and simply hasn’t taken a backwards step, winning her two subsequent starts with something in hand.
This is another rise in class, but she has the runs on the board, is rock-hard fit, and she can win again.
Redcliffe - Race 3 5:42pm
No. 5 Headwin
Allstar Sea has opened favourite in the third at Redcliffe on Wednesday, but I am going to take him on with Headwin.
Headwin failed to make much of an impression in a decent race at Albion Park last time out, but his form prior to that was good, and included an impressive win over this route three starts back.
He looks to be in peak order, and I am happy to give him another chance.
Redcliffe - Race 8 8:07pm
No. 4 La Safron
This looks to be a nice drop in class for La Safron, and he can return to winning form.
The nine-year-old gelding was tough through the line when fourth, beaten just over four metres at Albion Park last time out, having run home well into third here two starts back.
He’s another who looks to be in peak order and should receive every chance in this small field.
