No. 12 Aft Cabin

Aft Cabin can take the next step now after winning his maiden by an impressive six lengths at Sandown a couple of weeks ago.

The three-year-old’s impressive turn of foot was on full display thanks to a brilliant ride from Jamie Kah, while the fact he also placed on debut in heavy conditions reads well with plenty of rain about.

This is a step up in class, but the Godolphin colt looks to have a slight fitness edge over some of his rivals.

No. 7 Passive Aggressive

Passive Aggressive is the horse to beat in this year’s Cockram Stakes.

Grahame Begg’s unbeaten mare proved too strong last time out in the Creswick Stakes at Flemington, finding the front with 200m to spare on her way to a comfortable win.

She’ll land on-pace again with Jordan Childs retaining the ride and there was plenty to like about her recent trial win.

Rosehill - Race 9 4:30pm AEST

No. 7 Nettuno

Nettuno makes his return to the races looking to remain unbeaten in the San Domenico Stakes.

The lightly-raced three-year-old made it a hat-trick winning a Group 3 on the Gold Coast back in May, form that reads well with Sheeza Belter going on to win the Sires’ Produce at Eagle Farm two weeks later.

His recent trial win was impressive and he maps to make his own luck on speed with the class of Hugh Bowman on board.

No. 1 I’m Thunderstruck

He’ll need some luck from the barrier, but I’m Thunderstruck represents good value in a wide-open edition of the Memsie Stakes.

The son of Shocking ran well when resuming over this track and distance in the C.F. Orr Stakes earlier in the autumn on his way to back-to-back placings in the All-Star Mile and the Doncaster.

The stable should have him forward for his first-up assignment, while his recent jump-outs have also caught the eye.
