Pretty Little Liar looks ready to win now with three runs under her belt.
Annabel Neasham’s filly has been racing well without winning over the last few months, speeding out to lead over a similar trip to begin the month where she was only run down in her final few strides.
From the wide gate, she’s likely to adopt similar tactics under Blake Wheeler with little early speed on paper.

Race 2 - 1:53pm AEDT
Road to Magic Millions On Sale Now QTIS 3YO Maiden Plate (1200 METRES)
Margot’s Bullseye is worth forgiving on her latest effort at Eagle Farm over 1000m where she found plenty of problems down the straight.
Robert Heathcote’s filly looked a litlte green and in need of further over the final furlong, an effort she can improve on considering she was five weeks between runs.
This step up in trip should help, while her previous runner-up performance here at Doomben really caught the eye.
1 Unit Margot’s Bullseye
Race 3 - 2:28pm AEDT
BRC Membership QTIS 3YO Maiden Plate (1200 METRES)
Jonny Da Wolf was always wide on debut at Eagle Farm last month where he plugged away down the straight to run third.
He was unlucky not to finish runner-up in the end, but it was still a big effort from the three-year-old after looking a little green down the straight.
With improvement to come from a much better gate on this occasion, another top three run wouldn’t shock.

Race 4 - 3:03pm AEDT
Cascade Class 2 Handicap (1650 METRES)
Open race with a case to be made for a few.
Houston Rocket holds each-way claims coming off a solid first-up run on the Sunshine Coast.
The Sebring four-year-old was bumped early and never really afforded a crack down the straight, but he should be better suited here getting out to his preferred trip that he won his maiden over earlier in the year.
1 Unit E/W Houston Rocket
Race 5 - 3:38pm AEDT
XXXX Gold Maiden Handicap (1110 METRES)
He might be a little on the short side, but this does look a winnable race for Drialle returning from a break.
Now under the care of Barry Lockwood, the lightly-raced four-year-old has made a real impression in seven starts, placing two back at Wyong before a forgive run at Newcastle a fortnight later.
He’s had a couple of months off the scene, but with a recent trial under his belt and the gate in his favour, this looks well within his grasp.
1 Unit Drialle
Race 6 - 4:13pm AEDT
Ladbrokes Owners Incentive Scheme BM70 Handicap (1350 METRES)
Bullion Boy looks set to peak with three runs under his belt.
He fought out the finish to run third to Tambo Miss over the same trip to begin the month, form that has been franked with the runner-up Tojaki coming out and winning last Saturday.
Any rain about should be right up his alley, and if he can use his early speed to offset the wide gate, he should be thereabouts.
1 Unit E/W Bullion Boy
Race 7 - 4:48pm AEDT
Russian Camelot 1st Crop Yearlings Selling 2024 C,G&E Class 1 Handicap (1200 METRES)
Flying Mikki just needs to find the clear from a tricky gate to remain undefeated.
David McColm’s gelding was impressive on debut over the track and distance in August, winding up with a wide run coming into the turn to score by an impressive two lengths.
That form has really stacked up well since, and with a handful of soft trials to get him ready, he looks set to run a big race.
1 Unit Flying Mikki
Race 8 - 5:25pm AEDT
BRC Ascot Sunsets Series fillies and Mares Class 1 Handicap (1200 METRES)
Set To Shine just needs some luck to go her way from the wide gate.
This is a tricky race to assess, but she did run well here at Doomben three back where she stuck on bravely for third.
Her lateset effort at Eagle Farm over the same distance was strong, caught three-wide which ultimately cost her in the end. If she can go forward and challenge for the lead, she might go close at a big price.
