Randwick - Race 4 1:30pm

No. 1 Lady Of Camelot

Golden Slipper winner Lady Of Camelot looms as the one to beat again in the Percy Sykes Stakes.

The Written Tycoon filly has continued to improve noticeably with each start since debuting, and produced an eye-catching turn of foot to pip Coleman in the world’s richest race for two-year-olds.

She was scratched from last weekend’s Inglis Sires’ and this is a substantially weaker race.

Randwick - Race 7 3:15pm

No. 3 Ashrun

Ashrun kept his best work for late when third in the Group 1 Tancred Stakes a fortnight ago and will relish getting out to two miles in the Sydney Cup.

Ashrun spent nearly three years in the wilderness before returning to the track last spring, and his preparation was highlighted by a memorable effort for fourth in the Melbourne Cup.

There is no doubt that he has improved again this time in, and this race has always been his major target.

Randwick - Race 9 4:35pm

No. 2 Zougotcha

Zougotcha has returned to the races in career-best form this season and will take beating in the Queen Of The Turf Stakes.

Having already tasted success at the highest level during her three-year-old campaign, the Zoustar mare returned to action with a tough effort to win the Millie Fox Stakes, before repeating the dose in the Coolmore Classic last time out.

This is the next logical target for her, and she’ll be given every chance by leading jockey James McDonald.

Bendigo - Race 9 4:50pm

No. 3 Foxy Frida

The Golden Mile is a perfect race for Foxy Frida.

She is yet to strike in two starts back this time, but after tuning up with a nice performance in the Frances Tressady Stakes when resuming this season, Foxy Friday kept her best work for late in a strong Coolmore Classic last time out.

Fitter third-up and dropping back to something like this, she can make her presence felt.
