Geelong - Race 1 1:00pm AEST

No. 5 Lady Of Savoy

Lady Of Savoy returns to the races.

The daughter of Tivaci was placed in all five starts last campaign and her recent jump outs suggests she’s come back in top order.

Her latest hit out was over the 1100m at Mornington where she sat outside the leader and pulled away to win the heat comfortably under very little pressure.

She was only beaten by a slender margin when resuming last preparation and she gets her chance to break through today.

Michael Dee goes onboard and will afford her every chance from barrier three.

Geelong - Race 4 2:30pm AEST

No. 4 Sacred Ingot

Sacred Ingot has been placed in all three raceday appearances and looks ideally placed here up to 1760m.

The Sacred Falls gelding was the runner up at his first two outings and last time over the mile, he kept working strongly through the line but was just no match for the leading pair.

The runner up from that race has since come out and won and the winner will line up at Sandown tomorrow and has been well supported in early markets.

The Busuttin and Young trained youngster will relish the rise in trip and has drawn to receive all the favours under John Allen.

Goulburn - Race 1 12:00pm AEST

No. 2 Russian Snitzel

Russian Snitzel resumes.

The three year old filly made her debut in January, where she was well supported off some very impressive trials but things didn’t to plan and she was found to have pulled up with a slow recovery.

Freshened, she then lined up again at Wyong and was run down late after leading.

She comes here off a recent Rosehill trial win, where she worked to the line strongly under very little pressure.

The winkers go on, replacing the blinkers and if she does everything right, she should prove very hard to beat.

Cranbourne - Race 7 8:15pm AEST

No. 4 Picky

Picky drops back from Metropolitan grade and looks to have found a winnable race.

Prepared by team Corstens at Flemington, the Cable Bay filly has been racing well and comes off a very solid last start effort under 61kgs on the Hillside.

She’s to salute over the 1000m but she has been placed in five of seven attempts.

She’ll appreciate the drop in the weights and should prove hard to run down off the inside draw.
