Rosehill - Race 5 1:20pm
No. 14 In Flight
In Flight takes improvement and winning form into this contest.
The Joe Pride-trained filly has hardly turned in a poor performance since debuting, but her fresh effort and victory in BM64 company in May was her best so far.
She strips fitter for it and something like this looks well within her abilities.
Eagle Farm - Race 6 2:38pm
No. 17 Stefi Magnetica
Stefi Magnetica is chasing ballot-free entry into the Stradbroke when she takes her place in the Fred Best Classic.
The All Too Hard filly enjoyed a meteoric rise to prominence during her summer and autumn prep, winning at Orange when resuming and ending her campaign a close second in Group 1 company.
She returned to action with a really impressive effort in the Doomben 10,000 and this is a genuine drop in class.
Caulfield - Race 6 2:45pm
No. 6 Keep Reading
South Australian raider Keep Reading steps out in a very winnable race at Caulfield.
The Headwater gelding found form around some talented gallopers last time in, ending his prep second behind subsequent Group 1 winner Queman.
Having hit the line for an easy win down at Morphettville first-up this campaign, he’s open to improvement and can continue his rise through the grades.
Eagle Farm - Race 7 3:13pm
No. 1 I Wish I Win
The Kingsford Smith Cup really does look the perfect Group 1 race for I Wish I Win.
He has been outstanding since arriving in Australia, but it has now been a short while since the Savabeel gelding actually won a race.
He was only just denied by a very impressive Bella Nipotina in the Doomben 10,000 a fortnight ago, but he’s hard fit for this race and will relish the rise in trip.
