Pakenham - Race 3 1:30pm

No. 7 First Blessing

First Blessing resumes in a very winnable race today at Pakenham.

The Exceed And Excel filly made just one appearance at the races during her debut prep, hitting the line well to finish third behind quality galloper Written Bligh at Sale.

She’s reportedly furnished into a stronger horse and can begin her rise through the grades.

Pakenham - Race 4 2pm

No. 1 El Beatle

El Beatle will take improvement from a credible first-up run at Sale a couple of weeks ago.

El Beatle opened at huge odds in betting ahead of the 1100m maiden, but attracted big support late before ultimately finishing fourth.

He strips fitter and this doesn’t look to be any harder.

Pakenham - Race 6 3pm

No. 5 Dirty Grin

Dirty Grin is another resuming galloper with winning claims today at Pakenham.

The Zacinto gelding made two appearances at the races last time in, unluckily just denied to finish second in contests at Kyneton and Benalla.

His fresh record is very competitive and something like this is well within his abilities.

Pakenham - Race 8 4pm

No. 3 Brazen Kingdom

Brazen Kingdom can bounce back today at Pakenham.

His latest effort was well below his best, but his form prior to that was very good and included a sharp win over 1500m at Mornington.

Luke Nolen has options in running from barrier 1 and the horse looks to have a lot of these covered for class.
