Canberra - Race 3 2:06pm
No. 2 More Importance
More Importance has returned to the races in smart form and strikes another winnable one today at Canberra.
The Spieth gelding recorded consecutive wins first and second up before filling the minors in a 0-58 at his latest.
He steps out today in peak condition and with even luck, he can fight out the finish again.
Ipswich - Race 6 2:34pm
No. 1 Shot Of Whiskey
Shot Of Whiskey has been excellent since returning from a break and can win again this afternoon at Ipswich.
The Spirit Of Boom gelding was far too good for them in Class 1 company at Toowoomba first up from a spell and franked that effort in Class 2 company last time out.
Fitter third-up and from the good draw, I think he’ll take beating again.
Canberra - Race 5 3:16pm
No. 9 Exotic Dancer
Exotic Dancer won on debut and can continue her rise through the grades this afternoon.
The Gary Portelli-trained filly didn’t show a lot at the trials prior to debuting, but she put the writing on the wall with an easy triumph here a fortnight ago.
With natural improvement, something like this is the next logical step.
Canberra - Race 7 4:33pm
No. 2 Firealarm
Firealarm takes winning form into this contest and looks well placed to make it two in a row.
The Tosen Stardom gelding has continued to improve with racing recently, culminating in a nice victory over 1900m here last time out.
In peak order and with Deanne Panya retaining the ride, I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish again.
