Moruya - Race 2 1:35pm
No. 9 Noble Ruby
Noble Ruby can make a winning return to the races at Moruya this afternoon.
The Rubick filly showed promise at the trials prior to debuting back in March and was only just denied here at her first start.
She’s reportedly furnished into a stronger horse and can begin her rise through the grades today.
Moruya - Race 4 2:50pm
No. 3 Fourcade
Fourcade strikes another winnable race this afternoon at Moruya.
Fourcade has missed placing once in four runs back this time, winning in BM58 company most notably, while she was last seen finishing on the placegetters’ heels in a Highway race at Rosehill.
This is a substantially weaker race, and she steps out in peak order.
Moruya - Race 5 3:25pm
No. 5 Asurito
Asurito was an eye-catching winner on debut and can make it two on the bounce today at Moruya.
The Brazen Beau gelding was well backed ahead of his debut here last month and didn’t disappoint, mustering an eye-catching turn of foot to swallow up his rivals.
This is harder, but he has plenty of upside and it looks the next logical step.
Moruya - Race 8 5:15pm
No. 10 Achieve Perfection
The last at Moruya today might be the most open on the program and I thought that Achieve Perfection was up to winning at nice odds ($9 at publish).
Achieve Perfection broke his maiden on the Acton course at Canberra two start back, while he was fair through the line in a Class 1 up at Hawkesbury last time.
In peak order today and with a light weight, he can fight out the finish.
