No. 2 Linas Reel
Linas Reel resumes in a winnable race today at Ballarat.
The Highland Reel gelding is a seven-start maiden, but he turned in some fine performances last time in, only just missing a couple of times.
He’s reportedly furnished into a strong horse, and this looks an ideal campaign launchpad.

No. 8 Jackie's Maid
Jackie’s Maid is third up and primed to strike.
The Puissance De Lune mare finished just over a length and a half behind a fit De Bergerac at Geelong when resuming and kept on coming to finish on the placegetters’ heels again here last time out.
Fitter third-up and under Beau Mertens, I thought this looks a lovely race for her.
Ballarat - Race 7 4:30pm AEDT
No. 1 Wise Legend
The consistent Wise Legend strikes another winnable race today at Ballarat.
Wise Legend hasn’t finished worse than second at his last three appearances, winning out at Murtoa two back before only just being denied in a BM58 last time out.
He’s hard fit, gets some relief in the weights and is drawn ideally.
Ballarat - Race 8 5pm AEDT
No. 1 Cleo Cat
Cleo Cat puts her unbeaten record on the line in the last at Ballarat today.
Having stamped herself as one to watch by winning on debut at Werribee in February, Cleo Cat was sent to the paddock after repeating the dose in BM58 company at Terang.
I like that they’ve been patient with her, and this looks a nice launchpad into something bigger and better.
