Rosehill - Race 2 3:10pm AEDT

No. 7 Leconfield

Leconfield is third-up and primed for a big performance at Rosehill.

The Snitzel colt finished fourth, beaten just over two lengths at Randwick-Kensington when resuming and was last seen finishing midfield in a similar race over 1300m.

I think that third-up and back out to the 1400m are positives, as is the booking of James McDonald.

Bendigo - Race 7 4:30pm AEDT

No. 1 Private Jumbo

This looks like beautiful placement of Private Jumbo.

Private Jumbo has only recorded one race win since debuting, but he rarely turns in a poor performance.

Having mustered a nice turn of foot to fill the minors in BM70 company last time out, he’s hard fit today and will relish the drop in class.

Rosehill - Race 5 4:55pm AEDT

No. 2 Congregation

Another horse that will be piloted by James McDonald and saddled by Chris Waller today, Congregation looks extremely well placed to win in my opinion.

Congregation has continued to improve with each of three starts back this time, and he was last seen finishing second behind Zouatica at Randwick-Kensington.

With even luck in running, I don’t think he’ll get a better opportunity to win in metro company, and he is my best bet of the day.

Rosehill - Race 6 5:30pm AEDT

No. 7 Drift Net

This looks a lovely race for Drift Net.

Drift Net ended her last preparation with consecutive wins at Geelong and Warwick Farm, and returned to action to finish third, beaten less than a length in a similar race at Randwick-Kensington.

With natural improvement, I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish.
